Film credits set the mood, they welcome the viewer in and carry them out.
I design title sequences, motion graphics and poster artwork for fiction and documentary films, combining typographic precision with visual storytelling to establish tone from the very first frame.
ROLE:
MOTION DESIGNER & TITLE SEQUENCE DESIGNER
YEARS:
2010 – 2022
Dragalina
I designed the complete visual identity for Ecaterina and Sherban Vidick’s documentary Dragalina: title sequence, poster, booklet design, DVD authoring and website. Produced by Michigan Films, co-produced by CBA and GSARA. A project that spanned motion design, print and digital, ensuring a coherent visual language from screen to print to web.

Noces
I created the title sequence for Stephan Streker’s feature film Noces, a story of a teenage girl navigating the expectations of her traditional Pakistani family, an unexpected pregnancy and her own vision for her future. The typography and pacing of the credits were designed to match the film’s tension between intimacy and restraint.
Changements
For Noëmie Nicolas’s documentary Changements (produced by Michigan Films), I shot and edited the entire credit sequence as a standalone visual piece at the end of the post-production process, blending live-action footage with graphic design. Music by R.I.P. Bonaparte.

CODA
I designed the title sequence, poster and DVD cover for Ewa Brykalska’s short film Coda, handling both the on-screen motion graphics and the full print collateral, from artwork to DVD authoring.
We design credits for the big screen and film posters of every size for online marketing and social media or traditional promotion on the streets.

L’ombre d ‘un autre
Credits and poster design for Léo Médard’s short film L’ombre d’un autre, produced by Stenola Productions. I design credits for theatrical projection and film posters at every scale, from social media assets and online marketing to large-format outdoor displays. Each project is an exercise in typography, motion and mood: translating a film’s identity into a visual system that works across formats and contexts.

Motion graphic and animation
Alongside my work in film, I collaborate with a wide range of clients to create motion graphics and animations, primarily using Adobe After Effects, for advertising and broadcast. This includes the development of short-form visual content such as TV spots, promotional clips, and branded animations, designed to communicate ideas quickly and effectively. Whether for television or digital platforms, these projects draw on the same attention to rhythm, typography and visual storytelling, adapting cinematic techniques to meet the pace and constraints of commercial communication.

Teaching Title Design
Since 2015, I deliver an annual masterclass on film title design and subtitling at LUCA School of Arts, as part of their European Master’s programme. The course covers both the creative dimension (how typography, motion and pacing shape the viewer’s entry into a film) and the technical workflow, from subtitle formatting and timing to delivery specifications for festival and broadcast distribution. Teaching keeps my practice sharp and connected to emerging talent and evolving standards.
