Writing creates bridges

Raccords connects stories, dreams and practical insights to help emerging filmmakers understand their future work fields. I created the magazine to build a dialogue between students, teachers and professionals, using interviews, visual storytelling and editorial design to bridge the gap between film school and the industry. Across 9 issues, the project has been a space for creative experimentation and critical thinking, a laboratory for testing new editorial formats, visual approaches and content strategies that I have carried into every professional role since.

Editorial Direction & Content Production

I conceived, wrote and edited in-depth interviews with established film professionals spanning documentary, experimental cinema, heritage preservation and production, including Jacqueline Aubenas, Jean Libon, Rosine Mbakam, Pip Chodorov and many others. I also featured emerging talents, creating a platform where new voices sit alongside experienced practitioners. Each issue balances critical reflection with accessible, practical content designed to inform and inspire.

Publication Design — Print & Digital

I designed the magazine layout, cover and typographic identity, producing a publication distributed in print across Brussels cinemas and available online. The design prioritises readability, visual rhythm and a strong editorial identity, clean enough to let the interviews breathe, distinctive enough to stand out on a shelf or a screen.

Social Media Adaptation

I adapted editorial content for Instagram, simplifying long-form interviews into visual snippets that give followers a glimpse of each issue, demonstrating how the same story can be tailored to different formats and audiences while maintaining brand coherence.
